spent almost 50 bucks yesterday on 3 pairs of bonds undies. 50 bucks!! daylight robbery man. they only cost what, between $6-8 in aust? i paid $14-18!! sungguh tidak adil. alas i couldn't wait any longer. perth trip in 4 months. if i wait even another month i'll be going commando most days. ha. ha. ha. let's not go there.
my hands are itchy. i wanna spend. i don't know why. kakis, please please please come out of hiding for the love of god. i just got my much anticipated capitacard. yay! it's so shiny and new and purple and sparkly... heeheehee.
i need shoes. i need tops. i need black workpants (mine are getting so worn out that the stretch bits in the stretch material are showing. i kid you not. thin strands of elastic are sticking out of my pantlegs!). i need more undies. note: need.
someone indulge me please before i go nuts.

because i'm easter bunny- deprived
oh. my. god. ohmygodohmygodohmygod. think i just had what you might call a culinary orgasmic experience. was just sitting there stunned by the divine taste and texture of the fabulously rich and sinful ben & jerry's chunky monkey and phish food. oh. my. god.
imagine creamy vanilla ice-cream at the perfect temperature, giving it a luxe soft finish. now blend in pieces of sweet banana slices, crunchy walnuts and chunks of rich chocolate. mmmmmm. and that's just the chunky monkey.
rich chocolate ice-cream loaded with cute fish shaped choc pieces and swirled with neverending trails of caramel and marshmellow. a chewy, sticky delight. man...
ben & jerry- you guys are fucking awesome.
and they have new flavours out!! check em!! http://www.benjerry.com
if sex really is better than chocolate, or in this case, premium ice- cream, then it's got a helluva lot to beat. hmm. are birth rates higher than the number of people getting diabetes each year?
excuse me while i go lick my bowl clean and ban myself from the fridge. jp morgan chase corporate challenge in 11 days dammit!!

someone make the pain go away...
i'm having a horrid headache right now, the kind that throbs with a life of it's own. been that way since yesterday. sigh. i'm assuming it's a side effect of the antibiotics i'm taking for the diarrhoea episode i had on wed. 10 times to the loo. i think that's some kinda record man. the thing about this stupid headache is that it's at the back of my head and the throbbing subsides when i hold my breath. so what does this mean? i have to stop breathing to make the pain go away? is death the answer? sighs.
anyways, last sat i co-hosted the annual kampung party held in my neighbourhood. GOH was minister George Yeo. i didn't say that much during the hosting as my co-host seemed intent on reading from his script and not even making eye contact with me so i couldn't cut in and give my two cents worth. bummer ok. so stupid. but i did manage to give an overview of the event and tease the musical act and conduct the lucky draw in a relatively professional manner. that's what i think anyway.
i sat at the GOH table for dinner. wahaha. while the GOH was making his rounds greeting the residents i took the opportunity to swipe some of the kuih lapis at the table for my forever hungry family members... what? it wasn't like he was gonna eat it. cos right after the greetings was the dialogue session.
it was a good dialogue session indeed. he was poised and diplomatic with all his answers to the queries from the residents. he even kept his cool and kept his face straight when an excited elderly resident was spinning him a tale of her house hunting woes. kelakar gila ok.
it was also a pretty lucky night, my family members won 2 of the lucky draw prizes. haha. a rice cooker and a mini cd compo. coincidental, cos before the event started i told my lil bro, we are gonna take home the cd player thingy. haha. no, no kelong cos i wasn't the one who picked the numbers ok. i merely read them out. haha.
sadly this may be the last kampung party before our enbloc sale. we're all hoping that it'll happen really really soon. many of the residents have already gone househunting sia! so if anyone who lives in the east happens to know someone who's moving out of a flat that's big enough for 6 people, let me know!! we're aiming for a jumbo flat i reckon. or a 5 room exec. i already have my furniture picked out. essential items are a loft bed (maximise space. i hate clutter), floor to ceiling mirrors, wall to wall wardrobe and no roommates. :)
ya, i'm dreaming. hehehe. ok back to nursing my poor head and cleaning out my closet. i have gots to go to the gym more often man. can't fit anymore! nooooo!

with family like this, who needs enemies?
remember the sister i was so proud of 2 posts ago? well, she is a fucking cunt from hell who should just go take a long walk off a short cliff.
why? cos she is not a decent human being who deserves to live. there, i said it.
imagine this:
you come back home after a looong day trip to KL where you spent 3/4 of the time in a car that should get scrapped, travelling on bumpy, potholed 'across the border' roads. every bump makes your new piercing hurt like a bitch. the first thing you wanna do when you get home is to jump in the shower, survey the damage done and fix it. quickly. you also wanna get it over with cos you wanna talk to your bf whom you haven't spoken to all day.
the fucking cunt picks the exact time you reach home to head upstairs and go into the bathroom. she washes her face with the freaking shower. who the fuck does that? several times. please lah, washing your face that many times won't make it look any better ok. bitch. i say, hey hurry up, i wanna mandi. she ignores it. i think, ok maybe she didn't hear me cos of the running water. i go inside to wash my contact lens case and i repeat myself. she snaps back, wait lah. i say, quick lah. you know what the cheebye said?
'eat shit.'
i say nothing. cos if i do, somebody will get hurt. physically. and i'm not talking about me.
i can't stand people who waste resources. in this case, water. can't use the sink is it? can't turn off the shower when you leave the bathroom to take something?
i can't stand people who deliberately make life difficult for others/ are inconsiderate. i don't think she ever uses her brain to think of others. why the hell couldn't she have done all that sooner? she had plenty of time before we got back.
i can't stand people who have no respect for others. rude piece of turd.
please remind me never to speak to her ever again. until such time when she behaves like a decent human being.
please remind me not to treat her like a sister. until such time when she acts like one.
please remind me never to do anything nice for her ever again. until such time when she does something nice for me. cos now that i think about it, she hasn't done anything of the sort.
there.
btw, there was a freaking flying cockroach in my room the size of my thumb. aaaarrrgghhhh!! think it's somewhere behind my dresser now, dying a slow and painful death after i sprayed it. please please please let it die. die bitch die. now i have to go and disinfect all the stuff on my dresser, chuck out my cotton facial squares and wash my waterbottle and lens stuff thoroughly. argh. i'm too tired for this shit. tomorrow ah tomorrow. tonight i will be sleeping with my mouth shut. just in case. i hope my lindt bunny is still edible.

why i'm not in miss singapore universe
Q1 Why did you join Miss Singapore Universe?
because i'm sick of seeing a) girls who cannot make it b) girls who kena langgar lorry (twice) c) girls who resemble lolliops/ stick insects/ other phallic symbols. i am none of these things, thank you.
Q2 What is your best physical feature?
hmm where do i start... i'm the whole package baybee. face of an angel with a body (almost) built for sin. wahaha.
Q3 What is your main appeal?
i'm humble.
Q4 What's a typical day in your life like?
there are no typical days, dahling. i hate routine. whining and bitching about work is an every day ritual though. don't get me started on how working life sucks here. but if i must: wake up, contemplate going to the gym, pack gym stuff, go to work, contemplate about going to the gym, decide not to go, decide to go, decide not to go, leave office, walk halfway to the gym, go to the gym/ catch a bus home depending on how can't be bothered i feel, do my thang, go home.
Q5 What's one phrase you can't stop using?
i say 'ok' and 'hmm' a lot. but those can hardly be called phrases right... 'i dunno'.
Q6 Tell us one thing about you that people are always surprised to learn about.
hmm i dunno. they're usually surprised to learn that i'm a closet artist. well, new people. old friends know that i am. don't practice much nowadays though, so maybe that's why it's a surprise. did i mention i'm a grassroots leader too? haha.
Q7 If you could have one superhero ability, what would it be?
i wanna be invisible. so i can turn spy or go assasinate/ saboh people i don't like.
Q8 To you, who embodies the perfect woman and why?
there is no such thing as a perfect woman, or man. we can only aim for excellence, perfection is god's business. a woman of excellence would be... hmm. every single woman out there who juggles work, family and a neanderthal, and looks good doing it.
Q9 What is the biggest problem facing the Singapore society today?
we don't use our voices to speak up against injustices towards us. we put up with bullshit because we're too afraid to lose whatever little we already have. always remember that if you give an inch, they will take a mile. we need to fight for our rights.
Q10 What would you most like to be remembered for?
i'd like to be remembered for being a strong person who holds on to her principles and beliefs no matter the cost. oh oh i'd like to be remembered for my wicked sense of humour and witticisms too.
Q11 How do you cope with wolf-whistles on the street?
i don't get wolf whistles. thanks for bruising my ego, thanks ah. do lust-filled stares count? wahaha.
Q12 If you could recommend a TV show to anyone, what would it be and why?
i would recommend the shows on the discovery channels. documentaries, if you like. at least you're learning something and your brain isn't getting turned to mush.
Q13 What is the best advice someone has ever given you?
doing your best is not enough, sometimes you have to do what is required.- courtesy of yours truly. swiped off some site.
Q14 What do you look for in a career and why?
job satisfaction is key. if i'm not enjoying my work then it's going to be tough indeed. also, i have to do something that benefits people and is not profit driven. i think consumerism is rotting away all our morals and values and i do not want to contribute to that.
Q15 Any personal life mission(s)?
get married and get laid. in that order.
