so close yet so far

my hotly contested grc put up a rather good show. 43.92% to the opposition. ooh, so so close. almost half of the residents voted for the opposition. should the ruling party be worried? i reckon, yes, they should.

perhaps we'll see some major improvements in the area as a result of them trying to win us over. what if something like in v for vendetta happened here? that would be awesome.

i hope they put up a good fight next time round. who knows, they might win.

in other news, been feeling damned lethargic lately. think it's the diet. haven't been taking in any good, nutritious foods. bleurgh. perhaps i should do some detoxing. hmm. green tea here i come. i'm sick of the food selection at tampines too. sighs. i need more variety man. or mebbe i just need to stop being lazy and start to bring bekal. haha. but then if i bring bekal how the heck am i supposed to spend the rest of my lunch break? it's not like there are any nice places to sit at in tamp central... without spending, of course. sighs. lousy office doesn't have a lounge area either. bummer.

my theory is that i'm having a bout of sick office syndrome (sos). i don't think it's a coincidence that i've been to the doc 3 times since i started work. i didn't use to get sick so often. once a year, max. it's only been about 9 months. sucks. lucky can claim. otherwise ah, broke man. i love popping pills but i don't like strong medication. think it just fucks things up even more in the long run, u know. bah. i soo need a vacation and a good massage.

p.s. not gonna talk about what rohana, shaz and i did on sat. rohana covered it already haha. one thing's for sure, i'm going back to parkway to do some shopping man. hot tip: use the loos from the 2nd floor upwards. the rest are crowded as hell.
